About TripCo
TripCo is designed as a booking platform between tourist guides and travel agencies registered for arranging tours in Singapore.
This platform provides essential features allowing users to communicate about tours, confirm license authenticity, share personal experiences and keep up with the latest tour updates.
The Problem
Lack of convenience

In Singapore, tourist guides work freelance under different travel agencies. It isn't easy to keep track of tour bookings as all communications are via WhatsApp

It is not convenient to ensure both parties are legitimate when processing tour bookings
The Solution
All-In-One booking app

TripCo provides a user-friendly and straightforward booking system with instant confirmation

All confirmed tours will be added to their calendar

TripCo allows travel agents to send a copy of the tour itinerary before confirmation

Users can search license information such as issued date, license number and more
The Inspiration
Singapore Tourism Board provides a website directory for travel agents and tourist guides (Example below). The goal is to integrate the existing licensing system into an interactive app with added features for better navigation.

What I learnt
Based on my previous case study, I've integrated visual hierarchy and considered the consistency of font weights for a coherent pattern across all screens.
The progress in TripCo study has been more efficient with the use of auto layouts and components. Finally, the TripCo app is one with great potential for creating a community in the travel industry in Singapore.
